Employee Shareholding at Partnear

At Partnear, we believe in the power of shared ownership as a cornerstone for driving long-term growth, innovation, leadership and strength within our business. By introducing an employee equity scheme, we’ve taken a strategic step to align the interests of our key leaders with the future success of the company. We've done this to reward strategic contributions, build a stronger business model, provide greater opportunity for progress and a more resilient organisation.

With the recent promotion of our new Group Managers; Luke Hives, Arosh Gunawardena, Sid Gupta, Tom Burnett, and Zeb Johnson, this became the perfect opportunity to welcome additional shareholders. They gain more than just financial incentives. They gain a direct stake in the outcomes of their decisions, fostering a deeper sense of accountability and ownership over business strategy, and the teams, projects and initiatives they lead. This alignment between leadership roles and company performance is key to driving our team's long-term success.

The move to shared ownership will cultivate our existing culture of collaboration and shared responsibility whilst bringing focus and reward to our strategic sectors led by our Group Leadership. Each of these individuals brings a unique perspective and expertise to their roles:

  • Luke Hives, Operations Manager and Manager Urban Development, focuses on urban environment and land development engineering design.

  • Arosh Gunawardena, Manager Infrastructure, provides exceptional advice and design expertise for infrastructure projects.

  • Sid Gupta, Manager Structures and Buildings, leads our structural engineering efforts with precision and innovation.

  • Tom Burnett, Manager Future Services, spearheads the development of applied uses for innovative technologies and processes.

  • Zeb Johnson, Manager Assets and Delivery, ensures excellence in asset management, energy solutions, and project delivery services.

By involving these leaders in the ownership structure, we’re also ensuring that diverse viewpoints are represented in shaping the company’s strategic direction. This diversity of thought is critical in navigating the volume and complexity of challenges of our industry and adapting to an evolving environment.

Ultimately, the decision to extend ownership to our Group Managers is about more than immediate benefits. It’s about fostering a sustainable and innovative business model that reflects our core values. At Partnear, we see this as an investment in our people, our culture, and our future. By empowering leaders to think and act like owners, we’re building a better equipped company to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients and communities.

This move is a testament to our belief that leadership isn’t just about authority—it’s about responsibility, vision, and shared success. With this foundation in place, we’re excited to see how this approach will continue to propel Partnear forward. We look forward to extending this opportunity to others in the team as we propel forward with our vision of growth across regions, sectors and capabilities.
